Watermelon Margaritas
Makes 11 cups
Ingredients
- 2 (6- to 7-pound) seedless watermelons
- 2 cups fresh lime juice
- 2 cups tequila
- 1 cup light agave nectar
- Garnish: thin lime slices
Instructions
- Cut watermelon into cubes, discarding rind. In the container of a blender, process watermelon until smooth. Strain mixture through a fine-mesh sieve into a large bowl, discarding solids.
- In a pitcher, combine 6 cups watermelon juice, lime juice, tequila, and agave nectar. Cover and chill for at least 2 hours. Garnish with lime slices, if desired.
