Points of interest along the Paula Deen Tour include Forsyth Park and Fountain, one of the most photographed spots in the city; the Mercer Williams House, built in the 1860s by the great-grandfather of songwriter Johnny Mercer; and Sacred Heart Catholic Church, home to the first order of African American nuns in Georgia, established in the 1880s.

The tour also travels through the Victorian District, where you’ll see Queen Anne, Romanesque Revival, and Italianate architecture.

The tour also includes one of the most stunning examples of Steamboat Gothic, the Gingerbread House, built in 1899. The home is a popular event space for weddings, birthdays, and other special occasions.
