Sloppy Joes

Makes 6 to 8 servings
Ingredients
- 2 pounds ground chuck
- 1 cup chopped onion
- 1 cup chopped celery
- 1 tablespoon minced garlic
- 3 (8-ounce) cans tomato sauce
- 1 (6-ounce) can tomato paste
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoon firmly packed brown sugar
- 2 teaspoons yellow mustard
- 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- Hamburger buns
Instructions
- In a large skillet, cook ground chuck, onion, celery, and garlic over medium heat until beef is browned and crumbly; drain. Return beef mixture to skillet. Add tomato sauce and next 6 ingredients, and bring to a boil over medium-high heat. Reduce heat, and simmer, stirring frequently, for 20 minutes or until very thick. Serve with hamburger buns.
