  1. 1/4 cup butter
  2. 4 (1-pound) bunches asparagus, trimmed
  3. 1 sweet onion, thinly sliced
  4. 1 tablespoon minced garlic
  5. 1/2 cup dry white wine
  1. In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add asparagus, onion, and garlic; cook, stirring occasionally, for 5 minutes. Add wine, and cook 5 to 6 minutes or until most of liquid has evaporated.
