Parmesan-Broiled Tomatoes

Ingredients
  1. 4 large tomatoes, halved
  2. 1 1/4 cups grated Parmesan cheese
  3. 2/3 cup panko (Japanese bread crumbs)
  4. 3 tablespoons olive oil
  5. 1 teaspoon minced garlic
  6. 1/2 teaspoon herbs de Provence
  7. 1/2 teaspoon salt
  8. 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 350°. Line a rimmed baking sheet with aluminum foil.
  2. Place tomatoes, cut side up, on prepared pan. Bake for 15 minutes.
  3. Increase oven to broil.
  4. In a small bowl, stir together cheese and all remaining ingredients. Spoon mixture over tomatoes.
  5. Broil tomatoes or 5 to 6 minutes or until topping is golden brown. Serve immediately.
