Ganache Glaze
Serves: Makes 1½ cups
 
Ingredients
  • 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
  • ½ cup heavy whipping cream
  • ½ tablespoon vegetable shortening
Instructions
  1. In a large microwave-safe bowl, heat chocolate chips and cream on high in 30-second intervals, stirring between each, until chocolate is melted and mixture is smooth (about 1½ minutes total). Stir in shortening until melted. Use immediately.
