This simple and delicious Creamy Tomato Herb Pasta is a perfect addition to summer menus.
Creamy Tomato Herb Pasta
Makes 6 servings
- 3½ cups water
- ¼ cup unsalted butter
- 2 (4.6-ounces) boxes vermicelli pasta mix*
- 1 pint assorted cherry tomatoes, quartered
- Garnish: chopped fresh basil
- In a large saucepan, bring 3½ cups water and butter to a boil over medium-high heat. Stir in pasta and sauce packets. Reduce heat to medium, and cook, stirring occasionally, for 10 minutes. Stir in tomatoes, and let stand for 5 minutes. Garnish with basil if desired; serve immediately.
*We used Pasta Roni Garlic & Olive Oil Vermicelli.
