Sectioning Citrus

sectioning-citrus

Whether you want to snack on an orange, use a grapefruit in a salad, or garnish a cake or pie with a lemon or lime, sectioning citrus is the way you’ll want to cut the fruit. Sectioning means to cut the citrus between its membranes and leave behind any bitter pith. This video from the Hoffman Media Test Kitchen uses an orange to show you how quick and easy sectioning citrus is, but the technique is the same for all citrus fruit.
