COOKING WITH PAULA DEEN RECIPE ROUNDUP FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What are the prizes, and how are they distributed?
A winner from each category will be selected as a “Category Winner.” From those three winners, one will be chosen as the “Grand Prize Winner.” The “Grand Prize Winner” will be awarded $25,000. The other two category winners will be awarded $500 each.

Will I be notified when my entry is received?
Unfortunately, due to the high volume of entries, we are unable to acknowledge receipt of each submission. Your entry, whether via mail or online entry form, will be considered in the judging process.

When will winners be notified?
All the contest winners will be notified before September 15, 2009. Please visit the Web site for pictures of our taste testing and judging process once the contest closes.

When will the winning recipes be available to the public?
Winning recipes will be published in the November/December 2009 issue of Cooking with Paula Deen. They will also be featured on our Web site around mid-October 2009.

Who are the contest sponsors?
The logos of contest sponsors are located at the bottom of the Recipe Roundup Web page.  You can click on any of the logos to visit that sponsor’s Web site where you will find a listing of their products for your reference. Sponsors may be added throughout the contest, so please check back for new additions.

What sponsor products have to be specified in my recipe?
You can specify any product of the sponsor brands listed on the Recipe Roundup Web pages. For example, you can specify various Campbell’s soup products such as cream of chicken, cream of mushroom, etc. Please make sure the product you specify includes a logo from the main contest page and is available in a grocery store and not part of a discontinued line available from another source.

Will I have a better chance of winning if I specify multiple sponsor products in my recipe?
We’re looking for the best recipes, not the most sponsor product. If specifying multiple sponsor products enhances your recipe, then do so. If not, then, one sponsor product is all that’s required for entry into the contest.
