Arkansas Culinary Arts Education Program Offers
Menu for Cooking Fun in Beautiful Mountaintop Setting

If you love to cook and you love beautiful scenery, the Arkansas Culinary Arts Education Program at Winthrop Rockefeller Institute atop Petit Jean Mountain is for you.

The natural beauty and ancient geology of Petit Jean Mountain inspired the creation of Arkansas’s state park system, and Petit Jean State Park mirrors the mountain’s rugged beauty. Located a short distance from the park, Winthrop Rockefeller Institute offers a scenic setting for cooking classes with well-appointed accommodations available.

Since we are what we eat, the Arkansas Culinary Arts Education Program strives to make all its culinary arts programming not only a recreation, but also an education in how to enjoy eating right with style. Current programs include:

Saturday Chef’s Series, one-day, hands-on classes for recreational cooks
This series offers every “cheficinado” an opportunity to test out and develop new skills and techniques. Space is limited each week, and participation requires advance registration.
